Store Manager - GEOX

Location: Heartland Town Centre - Mississauga

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our store operations. As a Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of motivated staff. You will be responsible for inventory management, team leadership, merchandising, and enhancing the customer experience. Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and increase profitability.
  • Analyze sales trends and customer data to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Implement effective merchandising, product placement, and promotional strategies to drive sales.
  • Manage store schedules to meet budget goals while optimizing payroll costs.

Store Operations

  • Ensure accurate store inventory, including handling shipments, markdowns, and product recalls. Conduct regular store inventory checks.
  • Follow all policies to protect store assets and minimize loss. Administer cash management procedures.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and handling incident reports.
  • Oversee store setup, including stockrooms, cash desks, and operational areas. Maintain organized and efficient store layouts.

Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to meet performance expectations and deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, ensuring high employee engagement.

Omni-Channel Operations

  • Coordinate seamless integration between online and offline channels.
  • Oversee the fulfillment of online orders, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Train team members on omni-channel processes, technology, and customer engagement.

Customer Experience

  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience using the GEOX Service Model.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.

Visual Merchandising 

  • Ensure corporate visual directives are implemented effectively.
  • Maintain the store’s brand presentation and visual standards.
  • Adapt store visual displays to reflect business trends while maintaining brand integrity.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: University/College Degree or equivalent retail experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, ideally in fashion, apparel, or footwear. 
  • Skills: 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire all team members.
  • Strong people management and coaching abilities to drive performance and career development.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS systems.
  • Business acumen and understanding of key retail performance metrics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift merchandise up to 30 lbs. and move store fixtures as needed.
  • Capable of handling in-person conflicts and delivering timely resolutions.
